3.7-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude quake hit Davao Occidental on Thursday, Aug. 8.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 85 kilometers southwest of Sarangani at 6:43 a.m.

Depth of focus was 87 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
