(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Batanes on Friday, Aug. 9.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, an aftershock of the series of earthquakes in the province on July 27, hit 3 kilometers southwest of Itbayat at 10:51 a.m
Depth of focus was 17 kilometers.
An intensity III was felt in Itbayat, PHIVOLCS said.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
