(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Ilocos Norte on Friday, Oct. 11.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 13 kilometers northeast of Carasi at 7:57 p.m.
Depth of focus was one kilometer.
The following instrumental intensities were recorded:
Intensity II – Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte
Intensity I – Laoag City
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
