(Eagle News) — The Philippines continued to dominate the 30th Southeast Asian Games with 38 gold medals and a total medal haul of 67, with victories inspired by cheering from fans in the home court.
The host country also won 19 silvers and 10 bronze medals, aside from the 38 gold medals, according to the latest medal tally as of 6:30 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 2, in the 2019 SEA Games website.
Second was Vietnam with 10 golds, 20 silvers, and 16 bronze medals. In third place is Malaysia which also got 10 golds, two silvers, and seven bronze medals.
Indonesia follows with six golds, 10 silvers and 10 bronze medals; Thailand with six golds, seven silvers and 14 bronze medals; Singapore with three golds, six silvers and seven bronze medals; Cambodia with one gold, three silvers and 13 bronze medals; Brunei Darussalam with one gold, three silvers and three bronze medals.
Myanmar is next with five silvers and 14 bronze medals, followed by Laos with two bronze medals.
Among the participating countries, only Timor-Leste has not won a medal yet.
