The European Union (EU) delegation to the Philippines has assured its aid for areas affected by typhoon “Glenda”.
“The European Union stands ready to assist families affected by typhoon ‘Glenda’,” EU Ambassador Guy Ledoux said in an advisory Wednesday morning.
Ledoux added that the EU delegation here is currently monitoring and will be assessing the aftermath and damages of typhoon “Glenda”.
The EU envoy here also extends solidarity with the Filipinos in facing natural disasters like this.
Meanwhile, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas said in a interview this morning that around 38,000 families have been evacuated.
