Cloudy skies, scattered rainshowers expected in parts of PHL as ITCZ affects Visayas, Mindanao

Easterlies affecting S. Luzon, PAGASA says

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected over  Zamboanga Peninsula, and Northern Mindanao today as the Intertropical Convergence Zone affects Visayas and Mindanao.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms are also expected in CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and Bicol Region as the easterlies affect Southern Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

Luzon and the rest of Visayas, PAGASA said, will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
