4.8-magnitude quake strikes off Zamboanga del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Zamboanga del Norte on Thursday, July 30.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 1:17 p.m., had its epicenter 62 kilometers northwest of Liloy.

It had a depth of 56 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
