(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Catanduanes on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 5:02 p.m., had its epicenter 87 kilometers southeast of Baras.
It had a depth of three kilometers.
The quake was also of tectonic origin.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
