(Eagle News)–A 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 3:18 p.m., had its epicenter 159 kilometers southeast of Sarangani.
It had a depth of 73 kilometers, and was tectonic in origin.
No damage to property was recorded but aftershocks are expected
