4.5-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Sunday, Oct. 4.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 6:19 a.m., had its epicenter 45 kilometers northeast of Bayabas.

It had a depth of 19 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
