(Eagle News) — Twenty-five more police personnel have recovered from COVID-19.
The Philippine National Police said with the additional recoveries, the recovery total rose to 7462 as of Sunday night.
Fifty-seven additional COVID-19 cases pushed the total to 7874.
Of these, the PNP said 387 were active.
No additional deaths were reported, which means the death toll was still at 25.
The PNP has vowed to protect its personnel, who continue to be among the country’s frontliners amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
It has inked an agreement with the Makati Medical Center for medical services.
It also said all personnel on modified enhanced community quarantine and enhanced community quarantine were entitled to COVID-19 hazard pay.
