(Eagle News) — The easterlies are affecting the eastern section of the Philippines.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.
Flashfloods or landslides are possible.
A thunderstorm advisory, meanwhile, has been raised over parts of Mindanao.
PAGASA said moderate to at times heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are being experienced in portions of Zamboanga del Sur (San Miguel, Dinas, Dimataling, Tabina), Zamboanga Sibugay (Malangas, Diplahan, Imelda, Siay, Roseller Lim), and Zamboanga del Norte (Siocon, Sirawai).
PAGASA said these may affect nearby areas and may persist within one to two hours.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters are expected over the whole archipelago.
