PAGASA monitoring tropical depression outside PAR

(Eagle News) — The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a tropical depression outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

PAGASA said Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro will experience occasional rains as the southwest monsoon continues to affect the country.

Flooding and rain-induced landslides due to scattered to widespread moderate to at times heavy rains are possible.

Metro Manila, CALABARZON, rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, rest of Cagayan Valley, rest of Central Luzon, Calamian Island, and Antique, on the other hand, will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms

Luzon and Visayas will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.

Mindanao, PAGASA said, will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
