(Eagle News) — A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Sunday, Aug. 15:
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake — an aftershock of the 7.1-magnitude earthquake in Governor Generoso on Aug. 12 — struck at 3:22 a.m.
It had its epicenter 164 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso and was tectonic in origin.
The depth of focus was eight kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
