(Eagle News) — A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Friday, Aug. 27.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 4:39 a.m.
It had its epicenter 106 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos.
The depth of focus was 77 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
