(Eagle News) — A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Friday night, Sept. 17.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 8:43 p.m.
It had its epicenter 106 kilometers southeast of Sarangani.
The depth of focus was 42 kilometers.
The quake was of tectonic origin.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
