(Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Batanes on Saturday, Oct. 16.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 11:35 p.m.
It had its epicenter 79 kilometers northwest of Itbayat.
The depth of focus was 32 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
