Two US Navy warships that will participate in amphibious landing exercises, arrived at the Subic Free Port.
Amphibious assault ship, USS Peleliu and amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown will participate in the yearly naval exercise.
According to the United States embassy, said vessels will support Philippine and US troops in the amphibious landing training, aiming to strengthen military response to regional issues, humanitarian disasters and maritime security.
Said exercise is a yearly activity which aims for better inter-operability between the forces of the two allied nations.
Three thousand US troops and one thousand Filipino troops will participate in the exercise.
