4.6-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Saturday, July 9.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 9:08 a.m.

The epicenter was 154 kilometers southeast of Sarangani Island.

The depth of focus was 38 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
