(Eagle News) — The Philippines logged over 3,000 new COVID-19 cases.
According to the Department of Health, the 3,126 new cases pushed the total to 3867071.
Of the total cases, 31037 were active.
Metro Manila logged the highest number of new COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days, with 12723.
Calabarzon followed suit, with 7053 new cases in the last 14 days; Central Luzon with 4275; Western Visayas with 2247; Cagayan Valley with 1798.
Of the cities and provinces, Quezon City logged the highest number of new COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days, with 2943; Cavite with 2438; Laguna with 1866; Manila with 1612; Bulacan with 1399.
Recoveries rose to 3774515.
The COVID-19 death toll is at 61519.
