4.8-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Thursday, Dec. 15.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 11:31 a.m.

The epicenter 360 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.

The depth of focus was 114 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
