(Eagle News) — Cloudy skies with rain showers are expected in parts of the country on Wednesday, May 3.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol Region, and MIMAROPA, in particular, will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains are possible.
PAGASA said the conditions were due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone affecting Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao and the low pressure area over the coastal waters of San Agustin, Surigao del Sur.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
