(Eagle News) — A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Eastern Samar early Friday, Sept. 29.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 1:26 a.m.
The epicenter was 64 kilometers northeast of San Policarpio.
The following instrumental intensity was reported:
Intensity I – City of Borongan, Eastern Samar
No damage to property nor aftershock was reported.
