US Troops should be invited to Mamasapano probe – Colmenares

Bayan Muna Representative Neri Colmenares wants to invite representatives of the US Military during Congress’ hearing on the bloody Mamasapano operations.

This comes after lawmakers failed to send Bayan Muna’s first motion composed of 20 questions to President Aquino.

Colmenares admitted that he expected that the congressional hearing will yield no new results after his motion was defeated during voting.

However, he hopes that other lawmakers will support his suggestion to invite the American troops involved in the Mamasapano clash, as well as the relatives of the fallen SAF 44.
