MANILA, Philippines – Social Welfare and Development Secretary Dinky Soliman placed the entire country under blue alert as tropical storm “Dodong” continues its threat. She added that relief goods were already pre-positioned in provinces that are in the storm’s path. Funds were also released for emergency purchases.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is already coordinating with the Department of National Defense (DND), the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) as well as the local government units.
