DSWD admits shortage in permanent shelter in Yolanda struck areas

MANILA, Philippines, Aug 3 (Eagle News) — Social Welfare and Development Secretary Dinky Soliman admitted that there is still a shortage of permanent shelters in areas struck by super-typhoon Yolanda.

This is first observed by the United Nations, adding that Yolanda victims also refused to relocate to the permanent shelters due to the lack of water and electricity.
