According to Agriculture Undersecretary Jose Riaño, there will be no increase in the price of pork and poultry products despite the strong El Niño phenomenon affecting the country.
He added that the supply of said products will remain stable until the holiday season since poultry and hog raisers were able to prepare for the effects of the El Niño.
As such, Riaño added that there is no reason for the price of processed meats to increase.
