MANILA, Philippines – President Noynoy Aquino and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe conducted bilateral talks during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit, with said bilateral talks centering on the maritime dispute in the West Philippine Sea as well as agreeing in principle for stronger defense relations between the two countries.
