More patients will benefit from newly built New Era General Hospital building

With the inauguration of the Avelina Manalo-Makapugay Building by Iglesia Ni Cristo’s Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the health needs of patients coming into the hospital would be better addressed.

From the 40-bed capacity hospital — it now houses 140 beds.

This means, more ministers and volunteers plus their families, will now have access to state-of-the-art equipment and services of the new hospital. Even non-members are welcome to visit and try their services.

The New Era General Hospital has 134 specialist consultants, over 100 nurses and more than 100 allied medical personnel to take care of the needs of its patients.

Dr. Dan Leybag, chief head nurse of the hospital said that nurses were trained to be efficient and fast, they were also taught to be responsive to patients’ needs.

With the new facilities in the new hospital, he assured that the nurses would be more responsive to patients’ needs.

The doctors and patients were very thankful to Brother Eduardo V. Manalo for having built the Avelina Manalo-Makapugay Building.
