The state bureau on Monday warned of possible storm surges in the five provinces of Bicol and Eastern Visayas Regions as intensified tropical storm “Nona” maintained its strength.
The Philippines Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned that storm surges of up to four meters are possible in the Samar-Sorsogon area.
Typhoon “NONA” make its landfall over the northern tip of Northern Samar early Monday morning and will cross Albay province toward Burias Island. (Eagle News Service)
