Gov’t will not retaliate against NPA

According to the Malacañang, the government has no plans to retaliate against the New People’s Army after said group attacked a military unit in Camarines Sur, which is a violation of the ceasefire agreement between the government and the NPA.

Presidential Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma added that the government will remain alert to stop NPA’s violent actions especially now that the ceasefire agreement has expired.
