The Department of Health (DOH) will be giving free anti-rabies vaccine in all the animal bite treatment centers in the whole country this year.
This is to completely eliminate rabies that can usually get from the bite of an infected animal, particularly in a dog or a cat.
According to the Health Secretary Janette Garin, the eight complete doses of anti-rabies vaccine will be given free to 480 Animal Bite Treatment Centers across the country.
Garin also appealed to the public that if ever been bitten by a pet or a stray animal do not ignore it and immediately seek for medical attention from the nearest Bite Center. (Eagle News Service)
