Starting Monday, January 18, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Philippine National Police Highway Patrol group (PNP-HPG) will start apprehending private motorists that will make use of the yellow bus lanes and issued traffic violation tickets.
Said measure was adopted with the aim of making the traffic flow faster, particularly in the areas between the Shaw and Guadalupe area of EDSA. The MMDA was given until Friday, January 15, to finish installing plastic barriers that will delineate said yellow bus lanes.
