Philippines will install surveillance system in West Philippine Sea

To monitor commercial flights in the West Philippine Sea, the government plans to install a Php 50 million satellite-based tracking system in the Pag-asa Island. According to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, said system aims to ensure the safety of aircraft flying over said area.
