KUALA Lumpur, Malaysia – The government peace panel and the peace negotiators of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front went to Malaysia for a two-day meeting in response to the failure of the Congress to pass the Bangsamoro Basic Law.
According to government peace negotiator Miriam Coronel-Ferrer, they allowed for the abatement of strong emotions with the said failure of the BBL before they scheduled the meeting.
The MILF, on the other hand, is questioning the commitment of the Aquino administration to promote the comprehensive agreement of the Bangsamoro.
