TARPON SPRINGS, FLORIDA, United States – Local media reported more than a dozen residents of a mobile home community in Tarpon Springs in Florida were forced to move on Wednesday (March 30) after the ground caved in forming a large sinkhole.
The 60-foot wide sinkhole had formed just some feet away from some of those mobile homes, NBC News reported.
Officials said they were aware of the growing hole some weeks ago when work on a nearby road took place.
Aside from some damage to sewer and water lines, no other damage or injuries have been reported.
