QUEZON City, Philippines – President Benigno S. Aquino III supports the proposal that presidential candidates should publicize their medical records. President Aquino added that although the Constitution guarantees the right of privacy of individuals, the presidential candidates can voluntarily disclose their medical records in the interest of transparency.
But more than medical records, President Aquino said that the public should scrutinize the candidates’ speeches and actions to glean where they are going to take the nation when they win.
