Indonesia considers joining patrols in West Philippine Sea

QUEZON City, Philippines – Indonesia decided to join the Philippines and Malaysia in conducting joint patrols in the disputed territories in the West Philippine Sea. This, in spite of the fact that Indonesia insists that it is not a claimant of the disputed territories. Security experts were alarmed of Indonesia’s decision and fears that the move will increase tensions in the West Philippine Sea.
