(Eagle News) – Three whistle-blowers who had been allegedly hired to manipulate the vote count in the May 9 national elections showed up at the Senate on Monday, May 30, as they relayed to the media the vote transfers done to allegedly benefit Liberal Party candidates.
The “dagdag-lipat” or adding and transfering of votes happened during elections, according to the informants who gave information about the alleged cheating that happened in the province of Quezon.
The informants were allegedly government workers who were tasked to operate the vote-counting machines especially placed in an alleged war room.
The informants claimed that votes were added to Liberal Party presidential candidate Manuel “Mar” Roxas II, and to his running-mate Leni Robredo.
“Kami po ay humarap at humiling ng tulong kay Mr. Boy Saycon upang mailahad namin ang katotohanan, ang buong pangyayari, ang nangyaring manipulasyon at dayaan sa nangyaring halalan ng nakaraang bilangan. (We asked the help of Mr. Boy Saycon so we can reveal the truth, all that had happened, the manipulation and cheating in the elections during the counting of votes),” one of the informants said.
One of the witnesses who claimed to be a logistics supervisor, said that they underwent special training two weeks before the elections.
At first, they thought that the training was part of the preparation for the automation of elections since their office was allegedly near the polling precinct in Quezon province.
He said he had fur other companions who were IT experts and four other employees of Smartmatic that were involved in the operations.
The process was this: the results of the elections first go to them. And after the alleged manipulation of the results will these be transmitted by Smartmatic to the official election server.
“Sa amin po na-i-transmit yung mga galing sa munisipalidad na nabilang na upang mamanipula namin ang mga numero at mailagay po namin dun sa gusto nilang kandidato. At ang ginagawa po namin, pagkatapos po sa amin binabato naman po namin doon sa aming mga kasama sa second floor, 3rd floor na sya pong may makina ng smartmatic na nagbabato po sa mga kaukulang server,” the informant explained.
He said the votes of some candidates were lessened and then the new results placed in the SD cards, before they were sent to Smartmatic personnel who then transmit the vote results to the main server of the Commission on Electins and to the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV)
He said it was Smartmatic which prepared the final results for transmission.
“Sila na po ang nagsasa-ayos nun para po ang boto ay mailagay kung saan po nila gusto,” the witness said.
The witness also said Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., was one of the alleged victims of the operation which was more of a “dagdag-lipat” scheme.
He claimed that some 200,000 votes were shaved from the votes of Marcos Jr., and were transferred to Robredo.
He claimed that votes from other vice-presidential candidates were also shaved off and transferred to Robredo.
He said the same was done for Roxas. He said more than 400,000 votes were shaved from Duterte and transferred to Roxas.
Votes from Vice-President Jejomar Binay and Senator Grace Poe had similarly been shaved off. (Meanne Corvera, Eagle News Service)
