Incoming Duterte administration plans to continue weekly TV show

QUEZON City, Philippines – The administration of President-elect Rodrigo Duterte plans to continue his weekly television show, “Gikan sa Masa, Para sa Masa” (From the Masses to the Masses), this time fit for national television.

According to Presidential Communication Operations Office chief Martin Andanar, the weekly TV show aims to lay down to the public the policies and programs of the government.

Duterte’s weekly show in Davao City addresses various concerns of constituents.

Andanar said that this time, the show would be for a much wider audience – addressing concerns of the Filipino people in general.
