JULY 29 (Reuters) — Houston firefighters battled a four-alarm fire at an apartment block on Tuesday (July 28) that local media said left three of their colleagues injured.
The injuries were not described as life threatening and no tenants were reported hurt.
The fire, which broke out in the afternoon, appeared to engulf large parts of the apartment complex, with entire portions of the structure’s roof in flames.
Local media reported that the Red Cross was assisting displaced residents and that the cause of the blaze was under investigation.
