(Eagle News) — The Department of Agrarian Reform has distributed certificates of land ownership to more than 1000 beneficiaries, and “turned over” projects worth more than P100 million, Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella said on Thursday.
In a press briefing in Malacanang, Abella said the 1163 beneficiaries received the certificates covering “more than 700 hectares” of agricultural lands in Apayao, Benguet and Ifugao on June 15.
Abella said also “turned over” were three farm-to-market roads and five irrigation projects worth P137.4 million.
He said these will “improve agricultural production in those areas.”
