QUEZON City, Philippines (December 30) – New Year means new beginnings and it’s already approaching that’s why people are preparing the list of their New Year’s Resolution. It is the time when people reflect on their past behavior and make a promise to change. Everybody is hoping to be better for the upcoming year. Some people can make their goals into reality but despite the planning and the list of the things they want to change, many just can’t stick to their list.
Well, worry no more because here are some helpful tips that so that you can stick to your New Year’s resolution:
For you to achieve your goals, first write down your resolution and be serious about it. Making a list can help you become motivated on the things you need to achieve in your life. It will be easier for you to be reminded on the things you want for yourself for the upcoming year.
If you already think the “I can’t do it” or “It won’t work”, then you will be a failure and end up not doing it. So, motivate yourself and always think positively that this resolution will work for you and you will achieve it.
Instead of focusing on the list of your goals, focus on the strategies on how you will accomplish it. Make a concrete plan and read the list everyday so you will always be reminded of your goals and be motivated.
Evaluate yourself trying to change behavior in just a day is hard to achieve so if you can see that step by step your making a progress then continue doing it. It’s okay to make a mistakes if there’s in the list that you’re doing wrong just try to fix it as soon as possible.
Finally, If you already achieve your new year’s resolution, you deserved a treat. Go celebrate and treat yourself just make sure it won’t go against your resolutions. And continue what you have started so you can stick to your New Year’s resolution.
New year’s resolution is a just tradition so it’s still up to us if we’re going change our bad behavior or habits to improve yourself. It’s our option to be a better person and change for ourselves and for everyone even though it’s new year or not. In the end, we are the one making our goal so we have to be responsible in achieving it.
