Manila, Philippines (Eagle News) — “I can wait forever. If you say you’ll be there too.” This line sounds familiar, right? A moving song popularized by the Australian soft rock duo that will surely make you fall head over heels.
Recently the Bureau of Immigration (BI) confirmed that Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock, the two great singers of ‘Air supply’ will perform in the Philippine stage this December. However, due to the health condition of lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock, who has been hospitalized last week the concert will be postponed to March 2017.
In a Facebook post by Mr. Danee Samonte, concert promoter and president of the Manila-based Steve O’ Neal Productions, he stated: “We regret to announce that due to RUSSELL HITCHCOCK’S medical concern that has to be addressed immediately, the Air Supply concert in the Philippines this December has been moved to March 2017.”
But, unlike their best-selling song “I can wait forever,” we don’t have to wait forever to finally see and hear them immortalizing their timeless songs again live in the Philippine concert stage because the Air Supply Asian tour will be re-scheduled in March 2017.
According to him sold tickets will be honored on the new date in March 2017. But for the ticket buyers who want to get a refund, they can get it from any Ticket World outlet.
That maybe bad news for some, but don’t fret for they will give away special Air Supply premium gifts for those who will hold on to their tickets for the March 2017 show.
In a video attached to Mr. Danee Samonte’s FB post, British-born singer-songwriter and guitarist Graham Russell and lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock apologized to their Filipino fans for the sudden re-scheduling of their concert that was supposed to be in Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino on December 6, and at the Resorts World Manila Newport Theater in Manila on December 8.
