The Philippine National Police will deploy Special Action Force mobile training teams who will train new police recruits to regional police offices.

Philippine National Police Chief Oscar Albayalde said this was if the SAF training school in Sta. Rosa, Laguna could no longer accommodate the police recruits who are now required to undergo the basic internal security operation course.

It was Albayalde himself who made the training compulsory for police recruits, saying the internship program it replaced  was only a breeding ground for unscrupulous policemen who learnt from some unscrupulous mentors.

Among those who will undergo the training are 66 of the 76 graduates of PNP Maragtas Class of 2018.

“Pag di talaga kaya. ..Ganun ginagawa natin, mayroon tayong mobile team,” Albayalde said.

He said so far though the school could accommodate the recruits, which are slated to start their training in June.

“Tinanong natin director ng SAF. Kaya raw nila more than a thousand, kaya nila mag-train at one time,” he said.
