(Eagle News)–Typhoon “Jenny” has weakened and is no longer directly affecting the country.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said, however, that it continues to affect the southwest monsoon although only slightly.
As such, the western portion of Luzon may still experience rain showers.
All tropical cyclone wind signals have been lifted.
According to PAGASA, “Jenny,” with its center so far located 385 kilometers west northwest of Itbayat, Batanes will continue to move westward slowly over the coastal waters of southeastern China.
It is forecast to remain a typhoon until tomorrow morning, and will become a remnant low by early Tuesday or Wednesday.
