(Eagle News) — Another brick of cocaine was found off the waters of Quezon.
According to a report, the brick was found by a teenager near the coastline of Barangay Cagsiay II around 12 noon.
The teenager informed his brother of the discovery, and subsequently reported the find to soldiers deployed in the area.
Early this week, bricks of cocaine were discovered off Quezon shores in two separate instances.
President Rodrigo Duterte has said international drug cartels were behind the blocks of cocaine found floating off some waters in the country.
Philippine National Police Chief Oscar Albayalde said it was possible the illegal drugs accidentally found their way in Philippine waters, or they were intentionally left there, as the Philippines was also a known transshipment point for the illegal substances.
