(Eagle News)–Around P100 million worth of suspected cocaine was found on the coastline of Surigao del Sur on Tuesday night.
The blocks of cocaine, worth 20 kilograms, were found by a fisherman in Lingig past 9 p.m.
The drugs have been turned over to authorities.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
President Rodrigo Duterte has said international syndicates were responsible for the illegal drugs found in Philippine waters.
The police have said they would intensify patrols in the area as a result.
