ASEAN meeting with Obama prioritizes maritime security

MANILA, Philippines – President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino is set to attend the Association of South East Asian Nations leaders’ meeting with United States President Barack Obama in California.

According to Presidential Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma, the top agenda of said meeting will be maritime security, especially with the continued rising tensions in the West Philippine Sea.
