QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — The peaceful culmination of the 31st ASEAN Summit is a victory for all Filipinos, according to Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.
Roque also said that the Philippines was able to secure agreements with other members of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) and dialogue partners to address issues faced by the region like terrorism, the dispute in South China Sea, and North Korea.
Meanwhile, the bilateral meeting of President Rodrigo Duterte and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in Malacañang on Tuesday, November 15, was also declared a success.
